My partner and I had a wonderful time at Muri Retreat! Walking distance from TEM’s, cafes, restaurants, Muri Beach and other memorable experiences! Our room was impeccably clean, and having a garden felt like a slice of home. Simon and Denise regularly came by to maintain the amenities available, and if you’re lucky, Jimmy might hang out with you for a scratch and a cuddle. If you’re unsure about hiring a car during your stay, there’s a car available on the property - however, it is first in first served. The bus stop is not far along on the main road, and Simon offers a number of fun activities which you can sign up for to experience during your stay. Exceptional! Amazing group of four apartments with dip pool with great views over the coast from the hill. Simon and Denise has done a first class job to genuinely create a modern yet relaxed home from home, incredibly well-equipped and comfortable. Was the perfect place to stay. Location is Incredible and the apartments are immaculate. The service by Simon and his team is excellent. We stayed for a week and we wish we could have stayed there longer. We will be back again and look forward to staying there. Our Muri Retreat apartment completely exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with everything one would want and much thought had been applied to its design and layout. Very comfortable in an excellent location set a short distance back from the road and sea shore with a view out over the Pacific Ocean. The small shared swimming pool was well maintained and perfect for a quick dip at any time. Good WiFi signal at a small extra cost. 10/10 Source: Booking.com

A superb place, tucked away off the main road but within walking distance to good food, coffee and essentials. Lovely views from our room on the top floor and a clean garden/pool area with a BBQ. Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and well equipped if wanting to self-cater. We also appreciated our timely airport transfers and warm welcome to the island as well as a few snacks, fruit and milk on arrival. Welcoming and flexible hosts who were available when we needed them for tips, car hire or general questions. Great place to stay! Tranquil spot with great views (we stayed in an upstairs room with a great deck area). Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms with everything you need and more to self-cater. Nice touches of fresh flowers in the room on arrival, our names on the door and a welcome pack with some snacks and essentials. Fabulous hosts. Simon and Denise are super friendly and helpful. We chose to add the return airport shuttle, which Simon himself runs. Efficient, reliable and flexible! We loved our relaxing holiday! We felt like our second home in Rarotonga! Host Simon and Hostess Denise are so friendly and sweet. Even their dog Jimmy. We definitely back again. Because of Muri Retreat. So grateful and thankful. My Partner & I had an amazing stay set into the forest of Muri. A tropical island retreat like no other. The amenities were amazing and TV and Movie choices were Devine. Can not recommend this place and the host more highly! Airport transport was a greatly appreciated and cheap compared to local taxis & transfer services. Great location and fantastic hosts The location was ideal for accessing different parts of the island. A quiet part of the lagoon was a 5-minute walk down the hill (you do have to walk back up the hill). Super close to the night markets and convenience stores, including a great fish shop. Easy enough to get on and off the bus at the base of the hill. Simon and Denise went out of their way in every way to make sure we had the best time and were very informative helping us find our way around the island and learn more along the way, but were also happy to leave us be and explore ourselves. Couldn’t fault them or the apartment. Added bonus was the beautiful view from the top balcony. 5-Star Source: Tripadvisor

We had an awesome holiday in paradise and Onu fitted our needs perfectly for the 2-week stay where we could witness the local pigeon eating berries right outside the door every morning. We loved our personal welcome with leis and finding some tropical fruit awaiting us in the apartment. It was great having the washing machine at our disposal instead of handwashing. Simon and Denise are welcoming hosts, always available for help or any inquiries about scooter hire, best beaches and even vegan eating options on the island. The most accommodating and welcoming owners ever. Both Simon and Denise are the friendliest owners that I've ever had. Always checking up on you from the day you arrive to when you leave. You can tell that they both love the island because they know all the amazing spots to snorkel too. Thank you so much!
